The Announcement Mike app for Android is a free android app that enables you to both speak live and almost live. What this means is that you can either have the app amplify the signal the moment you speak, or after you have spoken. That's why the name of the app is announcement Mike. Both functions work well, especially the delayed announcement option. The app is rather small as it is made in Unity and also has instructions on how to use the app. It says you should be far from the speakers and that the connection should be done through a cable that is long enough to not cause you microphony. The real-time function does not work without a really far away speaker as the delayed speech option does. The last works with both the phone's speaker and headphones. The quality of the sound depends much on the quality of the mike you have in the phone. If you have an output jack in your phone that allows for both microphone and headphone input you will be able to connect both a real mike and a set of speakers. For this however, you will need a splitter. The Announcement Mike app is a really user-friendly app for you to have on your phone or tablet, as long as you have at least Android version 2.3 .
